The Compassion Center has been teaching people How to Meditate for over a decade. We have successfully taught well over 2,000 people how to meditate. We now teach this class via Zoom. You can learn how to meditate on a day and time of your choice with the added convenience of being able to learn from any location that has Internet access.

Zoom allows us to provide interactive classes where one or more people can learn how to meditate online just as effectively as learning in person. These classes can be accessed via desktop computer, laptop, tablet, iPad or smartphone. You can download the free Zoom app or access our classes via any browser.

  • Approximately 90 minutes of instruction led by Dan Globus.
  • Step by step instructions on how to meditate.
  • An overview of what Meditation is, how to know when you are meditating, an explanation of the benefits of Meditation, and ample time to ask questions and discuss your needs.
  • An audio file (delivered via email or text) with the guided Meditation instructions that you receive in person.

What makes this class completely different from most Intro to Meditation classes is that Dan will discuss with you the reason(s) you are considering Meditation and how Meditation can be used to address any challenges you are facing in your life.

We teach a style of Meditation that combines traditional Mindfulness, Vipassana and traditional Tibetan Meditation techniques.

It is a non-religious style of Meditation that focus on removing stress and anxiety from the body and mind through guided. We focus on removing any discomfort in the body and calming the mind through breathing techniques and guided imagery. The goal of this Meditation style is to bring about any change that you seek for your mind and/or body.
