Reduce and eliminate anxiety and stress in these weekly Monday night classes. We will utilize body relaxation, breathing techniques, guided imagery, and discussions on how to reduce and eliminate anxiety and stress. Many of us have been forced to take (or consider taking) prescription medication to deal with anxiety. Many have also turned to alcohol and other substances to help us cope with the crippling effects of anxiety and stress. And then there are those who manage to function every day but live with constant anxiety and high levels of stress. We don’t need to take prescription medications, drink alcohol or take other substances to deal with the crippling effects of anxiety. We can learn and practice techniques that have been used by thousands of people over hundreds of years that are very effective at removing anxiety and reducing stress. These classes include guided meditations by Dan Globus, Director and lead Meditation teacher of The Compassion Center. Dan has successfully taught hundreds of people on Staten island how to reduce and eliminate anxiety and reduce their stress levels.
